One of the members of lowbus.es, a platform for the commercialization of empty journeys between coach companies that already has more than 200 registered companies and a total fleet of more than 3000 vehicles, visited us at our booth 8B09 at FITUR.

Its startup is focused on transport operators, allowing cooperations between companies and also helping to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

Until today, companies usually connect via phone calls or WhatsApp groups, to try and coordinate efforts and take advantage of empty trips. However, this means it makes it difficult to track and control all the journeys. That’s why this Spanish startup comes into play, which is being accelerated by the Lanzadera and Climate-KIC (the public-private project promoted by the European Commission to develop sustainable innovation initiatives).

The platform allows you to start a thread of messages with the other companies, give your opinion about the experiences of buying and selling with other companies and, also, it automatically links each service to a calendar.

Another of its functions is the ability to inform about a break during the trip, creating news for all registered users, and reducing the waiting time of replacements.

Lowbus.es offers its users the possibility of benefiting from 50% of their profits by selling and buying gaps, optimizing discretionary transport, and reducing the carbon footprint in Spain.

Without a doubt, a meeting that will pay off in a short amount of time. Having started an agreement with our companies, the provincial association UNIBUS Jaén will be appraised shortly.
