One of the members of lowbus.es, a platform for the marketing of empty routes between coach companies that already has more than 200 registered companies and a total fleet of more than 3,000 vehicles, visited us at our stand 8B09 at FITUR.
His startup is focused on transportation operators, allowing cooperation between companies and also helping to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
Until today, companies communicate through phone calls or WhatsApp groups, to try to coordinate efforts and take advantage of empty trips. However, both methods make it difficult to track and control all route traffic. That is where this Spanish startup comes into play, which is being accelerated by Lanzadera and Climate-KIC (the public-private project promoted by the European Commission to develop sustainable innovation initiatives).
The platform allows you to maintain a thread of messages with other companies, make evaluations of the buying and selling experiences with other companies and even automatically link each service to a calendar.
Another of its functions is the possibility of reporting a breakage during the trip, creating a notice for all those registered, and thus reducing the waiting time for a replacement.
Lowbus.es offers its users the possibility of making their profits profitable by selling and buying empty 50%, optimizing discretionary transport, and reducing the carbon footprint in Spain.
Without a doubt, a meeting that will bear fruit in the short term. Having reached an agreement with our companies and the provincial association UNIBUS Jaén will be evaluated shortly.
